Welcome to VETnum. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the VETnum mobile application and related services ("Services").
By registering for or using VETnum, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. About VETnum
VETnum is a veterinary and pet-care technology platform that helps pet owners manage pet information, appointments, veterinary records, prescriptions, laboratory reports, documents, invoices, and other pet-care services.
Features may vary depending on the participating veterinary clinic, service provider, location, and application version.
2. User Account
You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account credentials secure.
You must not share your account with unauthorized persons or use another person's account without permission.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Pet & Veterinary Information
You may provide information about your pet, including medical history, vaccinations, prescriptions, treatments, laboratory reports, photographs, and other records.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
Veterinary records may also be created or updated by participating veterinarians, clinics, laboratories, or other authorized providers.
4. Veterinary Disclaimer
VETnum is a technology platform and does not replace professional veterinary care.
Veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, and medical advice are provided by qualified veterinary professionals or participating clinics.
In an emergency, contact a qualified veterinarian or emergency veterinary service directly. Do not rely solely on the VETnum application for emergency care.
5. Appointments & Services
VETnum may allow you to book veterinary appointments and other pet-care services such as grooming, boarding, walking, and training. Appointment availability, pricing, cancellation policies, and service delivery may be controlled by the relevant provider. VETnum is not responsible for the independent actions, availability, or service quality of third-party providers.
6. Payments
Where payment functionality is available, payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
Applicable prices, taxes, cancellation, and refund policies may vary depending on the relevant service or provider.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Provide false or misleading information;Access another user's account without authorization;Attempt to gain unauthorized access to VETnum;Upload malicious software or harmful content;Misuse or disrupt the Services;Reverse engineer the application except where permitted by law; orUse VETnum for unlawful purposes.
8. Privacy
Your use of VETnum is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal and pet-related information.
9. Intellectual Property
The VETnum application, name, logo, software, designs, content, and other materials are owned by or licensed to VETnum.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reproduce VETnum's proprietary materials without authorization.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep VETnum available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Services when reasonably necessary.
11. Disclaimer & Liability
VETnum is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VETnum will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services or from services provided independently by third-party veterinary or pet-care providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Account Termination
You may stop using VETnum or request deletion of your account.
VETnum may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, involve fraud or abuse, create security risks, or where required by law. Certain veterinary or legal records may need to be retained as required by applicable law or by the relevant veterinary provider.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published with a revised Last Updated date.
Your continued use of VETnum after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the VETnum Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
